Weights total 100%. Each rating, divided by five and multiplied by its weight, contributes to a score out of 100. Ties need your judgement.

REFUND POLICY

Refunds and withdrawal rights

Purchases of Guest List Cutter are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record.

Refund requests and any applicable statutory withdrawal rights are handled in accordance with Paddle’s Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

If Guest List Cutter is not delivered or there is a technical problem preventing delivery, please contact us at support@guestlistcutter.com and we will help resolve the issue.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights.

PRIVACY POLICY

Your guest list stays on your device.

Names, questions and ratings are processed in your browser. The tool does not upload them to us or store them in browser local storage. Save project creates an unencrypted file on your device; keep it private and backed up. Unsaved changes disappear when you close or refresh the page.

Files and email

Opening a project reads it locally. CSV exports and email drafts are generated on your device. Copy report uses your clipboard. You choose when and with whom to share a file or email; your email provider and recipients then handle those copies. We cannot retrieve or delete local files for you.

Website delivery and service providers

We use hosting, security and email providers to deliver the site and respond to enquiries. They may process IP addresses, browser information, access logs and, where access is restricted, sign-in data. The website itself adds no advertising pixels, analytics or marketing cookies. The downloaded tool works offline.

Providers may process data outside Iceland and the EEA. Contact us for provider details and information about applicable transfer arrangements and safeguards. Hosting and access records are retained under the relevant providers’ arrangements.

Support and retention

If you email support, we receive your address and message. We use them to answer you and resolve problems, based on our legitimate interest in providing support and operating the service, and where necessary to comply with legal obligations. Correspondence is retained for as long as needed for follow-up, disputes or legal requirements. Checkout is not yet enabled, and this website currently collects no payment details.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of data we hold, or object to processing based on legitimate interests, where applicable. Contact support@guestlistcutter.com. You may also complain to Persónuvernd or your local supervisory authority. The controller is identified in Legal information.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Simple ground rules.

  • Personal use. Keep your downloaded copy, plan multiple events, make backups and share projects privately with a co-planner. Do not resell or publicly redistribute the software.
  • Your choices. Rankings follow your inputs and do not decide invitations. Savings are estimates using your cost per guest, excluding fixed costs. Currency selection labels amounts; it does not perform exchange-rate conversion.
  • Your files. Save after each session. Each save creates a new file. Keep the latest copy and a backup; there is no cloud recovery. You retain ownership of your data.
  • Compatibility. Use a compatible browser on a computer or phone. Opening local HTML, saving files and PDF options vary by phone and browser; use a computer if your phone cannot run or save the tool. The download has no built-in expiry, but indefinite compatibility, future updates and uninterrupted website access are not guaranteed.
  • Responsible use. Enter only data you are entitled to use. Review results before sharing or relying on them.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for event decisions or losses caused by inaccurate inputs, failure to save or unauthorised sharing of your files. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

The operator provides the tool under these terms. The price is $19 USD as a one-time payment, with no subscription. Applicable tax and the total will be shown before payment. Purchases are not yet available. Contact us about faults or disputes.
