Is this only for weddings?
No. Use it for birthdays, graduations, anniversaries, or any celebration with more potential guests than seats.
Does it decide who I should invite?
You choose the questions, weights, and scores. The tool shows a ranking based on those choices. You decide who gets an invitation.
Can I paste a list from Excel or Word?
Yes. Paste one name per line. For a spreadsheet, place the names in the first column.
Where is my guest list stored?
The downloaded tool processes your list in your browser without sending it to a guest-list database. Use Save project to download the tool together with your names, ratings and settings. Open the saved HTML file in your browser to continue later, even offline. Save again after making changes; CSV and email contain results only.
How much does it cost?
Guest List Cutter costs $19 USD as a one-time payment, with no subscription. Applicable tax and the total will be shown before payment.
How do I get the tool?
Buy Guest List Cutter on the purchase page. After purchase, you will receive a download link by email. Download the ZIP, extract it, and open Guest-List-Cutter.html in a compatible browser on your computer or phone.
Can I use it again for another event?
Yes. Start a new project and keep a separate saved file for each event. Your downloaded copy has no built-in expiry. Save after each session and keep a backup; we cannot recover files stored on your device.
Will it work on my phone?
Yes — you can rate guests and view results on a phone in a compatible browser. Download the ZIP, extract it using Files or My Files, then open Guest-List-Cutter.html with your browser. Use Save project to download an updated copy to Downloads or Files, and Open project to load that saved copy next time. Save after each session; changes do not overwrite the original file. Some phones, particularly iPhones, may show only an HTML preview instead of running the tool. If you cannot open the file in a browser or save a project, use a computer. File opening, sharing and PDF options vary by phone and browser.
